Early Head Start
Early Head Start is a child development program that seeks to enhance the development of infants and toddlers by establishing strong partnerships with parents and the community.
The mission is to promote healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, enhance the development of very young children, and promote healthy family functioning.
Services are provided in either the home through a visiting teacher, or center based. The services includes parent education, parent-child activities, health services, case management, and peer support groups for parents.
